This Mexican shop in Dublin has put a 'wall of love' in their window in response to Trump

Their nickname for Trump? El Bully.

PICADO IS A Mexican grocery and cooking school located on Dublin’s South Richmond Street.

Owned by Lily Ramirez-Foran and her husband Alan Foran, Picado specialises in selling quality Mexican ingredients and running cookery demonstrations.

As you might expect, they’re no fans of President Donald Trump and have previously denounced his pledge to build a wall along the Mexican border.

Nearly a year later and President Trump still has his heart set on building the wall.

So Picado have decided to build their own “wall of love” in response.

In their new window display, the business labels Donald Trump as “El Bully” and pleads for inclusion, friendship, kindness, love and respect.

Sharing the image, Picado wrote that they usually steer clear of politics, but felt compelle to highlight the need for tolerance and respect.

We normally keep personal politics outside our business life, but with all that’s been said and done so far, we needed to make a positive statement and highlight the things that are TRULY important in our ever increasing and interconnected multicultural world.

And they called upon people to “build bridges, not walls”.

Walls are divisive, but if we focus on the words, we’ll find the common ground that makes us great human beings! Build bridges NOT walls!

Well said.
